Israel Edward Tarnapolsky Paul

B- July 12, 1905 - October 27, 1969

Israel Edward Paul was 6 months old when he arrived at Ellis Island. He worked in the family business, Lincoln Auto Body Radiator and his wife was Laura Jacobson Paul. They had a daughter Shirley D. Paul, born around 1925 who died in 1930. Edward retired to Sarasota, Florida in 1962. Ed Paul lived at 5836 Malvern Street, Philadelphia, PA.

Carol Robbins, Edward's daughter, added that she was told by her parents an interesting story concerning the kidnapping of her father, Israel (Edward) Paul, in Russia when he was 3 months old (1906) by his nursemaid as Max & Sarah Paul were about to leave for the boat which was to take them to the US. They did find him and off they went! Edward was always concerned about leaving the US as he was not sure about his citizenship.

Edward retired from Paul Bros. in 1962 (after having had a major heart attack) and moved to Sarasota, Florida. Edward continued to work with his daughter and son-in-law Jerry until his death in 1969.
